sweet cherries planted '07
The bright pink blossoms seen here in the peach orchard are of rogue root stock variety; the other trees are successful grafts.
...enjoy the full experience of eating seasonally.
Our CSA shares include the tender greens that are so fresh after a long Vermont winter, the peak summertime sweetness of blueberries in August, and the comforting variety of squash, roots and apples in the fall as the weather turns cold.

What's in a share?
Share Options
Full shares will feed 2-3+ adults/week. Lbs. of food range from 12-17/week. See sample boxes below.

Half shares supply one veg-lover, supplement a garden, or stock your fridge if your family often eats away from home.
Avg 6-8lbs food/week.  See sample boxes below.
      Both shares
can include pasture-raised eggs. See order sheet. Supply will be limited until August; based on demand expect eggs once every 2 or 3 weeks.

      Our
regular fruit/veg shares are picked up Tuesdays at our farm, 2-6pm. Regular season is 26 weeks.

The Wednesday Shares are picked up at the Wednesday Farmers' Market: downtown Brattleboro (Co-op Plaza), 10am-2pm. Wednesday share season is 21 weeks.

     Organic chicken shares:
a $50 deposit guarantees you 5 pasture-raised organic broiler chickens, distributed between June and August. The balance of the cost is due upon receipt of the chicken, and will reflect a discount from our retail prices.

Organic pork shares: a $50 deposit guarantees you a 20lb. share of mixed cuts (including bacon we hope) of pasture-raised organic pork. The balance is due upon receipt of the meat (July) and will reflect a discount from retail price.

What can shareholders plan to end up paying for meat?
We're confident that our meat prices will be competetive with those of similar area products. By utilizing pasture, farm-grown corn, and by-products such as apple pomice from the cider mill, we hope to sidestep the wild (ethanol-fueled) grain price increases!
Summertime boxes will be overflowing with produce. Sweet corn, zucchini and summer squash, broccoli, basil, tomatoes of all types, blueberries, raspberries, cucumbers, plums, peaches, early apples, new potatoes, greens, fresh eggs and more.
Fall is harvest season! The last of the berries in September and the last of the tomatoes in October mingle with apples, pears, cider, squashes, pumpkins, greens, onions, leeks, potatoes, broccoli, carrots, beets, cabbage, kales, chard, eggs.

Interested members will have access to bulk quantities of produce. This is harvest/market dependent in terms of timing availability, whether produce is price-reduced or free, and so on. Tomatoes, cabbages, and corn are good candidates, maybe peaches and
